Isn't the RTuna forums a big advert for the shop?

Isn't the RTuna forums a big advert for the shop?

There are many shops out there that attach a forum in the hope that it will generate more product buyers, but that's not how RTuna works. There are also many forums out there that use paid/sponsored advertising site-wide to pay their running costs, and that's not how RTuna works either.

RTuna is an owners club foremost. The forums are the hub of the group and allow people to network with other riders, organise meets and banter away just like any other forum.

The store is here to fund the place! Yes, products in the store make a profit, any self-respecting store does. But the profits from the store go straight into the club from paying for the hosting and domains to organising events, giving away prizes, paid advertising elsewhere and other avenues to make this the best site for the users.

If you want to buy your products from RTuna, you are helping form and evolve the site to make it a better experience for yourself. If you want to buy them elsewhere, feel free to do so, we won't ban you over it, but then also feel free to come back and tell us what you think of your product, write a guide on how you fit it, etc just like any other forum, as that's what we are here.

Feel free to contact myself or Mick with any questions..
This is my bike. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.
Without me my bike is useless. Without my bike, I am useless.
