R6 to r125 rider pegs - FOUND BY RTUNA!!!

Postby FLASH » Thu Apr 05, 2012 10:15 pm

looking for something special and i know its out there.
ill divide my question into 2 parts.

they just this month, they released a new set of pegs for the R6
YAMAHA YZF-R6 98-11 CNC FRONT FOOTPEGs. (picture included)

they come in pretty much any colour you can think of and have a rubber end rather than hero blobs. i think they are beautiful.

question one.. does RTUNA plan to stock them or something like them as i think they would be a great addition to any R bike.?

question two.. the hard one.... i own a little R125 (im still manly even though i ride a hairdryer)
im told that r6 pegs fit the r125..
the gap on my peg mount is 20-21mm .
do we know what the peg size is on the R6? will they fit my little bike?
im thinking nice titanium locknut and bolt in blue to secure and jobs a good one?

and these in the below colours, tapered or round

But I've not seen rubber tips before...

Honestly tho, i don't think id go rubber tipped, they would stuff too easily, not just walls and stuff but your boots - they would have to be proper tough...

Right then. The masses (you) have asked, and the Gods (me) have answered! :)

Biketek CNC Machined Footrests for the R125

The tips are Nylon, which is much better than rubber, will withstand daily life trials and graze away nicely like knee sliders when you touch them mid corner, and the tips are removeable and replaceable. We'll be listing the replacement tips soon when I can get a price from the supplier.

I have also listed these for all models of R1 and R6, find them in the shop under your bike sections, then controls/rearsets.

The supplier is not listing these as a direct fit to the R125, but a quick look around the internets suggests they are a direct swap, and interestingly, all models from Yamaha have the same part number, so that would imply that they will fit yours too.

You have a choice mate, find a bike that will let you take a measurement and then order, or order them from us and if they dont fit I'll refund you.

well done gents.
much impressed.
ill do a little more research (which gives me time to get this stage of my biker ready)
and ill bang in a new order.

i foresee the blue ones being the colour of choice. they match the paintwork nicely.
